Westland Studios update

Well, the plan for 2012 was to have the studio so busy that it wouldn't matter that the SSL desk had to stay on 24/7 and costing me a fortune....
I can safely say mission accomplished!
More updates as soon as i can remember all the clients and new gear we acquired in 2012!
Just wait till you see what we bring in and Alwyn Walker and John O'Kelly churn out in 2013!!!!

I can't go to the HOTPRESS music show today as I'm mixing two tracks I recorded for Ian O'Doherty, an amazingly talented songwriter with a great ear for arrangement and a voice that sounds like a valve amp mic'ed up with an expensive ribbon. Definately one to watch!

I got an amazing guitar case today, and the best thing? Inside it is a built-in valve amp!

Rog (Eazy Tyger's Drummer) informed me that the "Classic Albums - Def Leppard - Hysteria" episode was filmed in Westland! Building on my suspicions that some of the recording/mixing was done here. Check out at 1:00 in Part 4 where Phil points to our AMS DMX (my favourite delay unit)
